Seth Gene Gregersen, the son of Richard Lee and Cheryl Anne (Werner) Gregersen, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 28, 2000. He attended PahrumpValley Schools in Nevada, and in 2018, graduated from Elk Horn (Iowa) High School. During high school, Seth participated in track. Following graduation, he began working at Regional Water as a distribution operator.
Seth liked to be outdoors, and enjoyed drifting, fishing, and camping. He especially loved his dog, Saddle.
Seth G. Gregersen died on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa. He had reached the age of 20 years, 11 months, and 13 days.
Seth was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Gregersen, on January 6, 2021. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Cheryl Gregersen of Walnut, Iowa; two brothers, Greg (Abby) Gregersen of Harlan, Iowa, and Josh (fiancée, Hevyn Briggs) Gregersen of Persia, Iowa; one sister, Brittany (Stuart) Lovorn of Avoca, Iowa; two nephews, Bentley Lovorn and Noah Lovorn, both of Avoca, Iowa; one step-niece, Lilly Briggs of Persia, Iowa; his beloved dog, Saddle; and other relatives and friends.
A family-directed graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery, Elk Horn, Iowa. Pastor Keith Menter of the Elk Horn Lutheran Church will officiate. Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home, Inc., of Harlan, Iowa, assisted the family with arrangements.
